IBA welcomes hardworking, ambitious, committed, result oriented and focussed students to experience the rigors of a world class management programme (PGDM).

Eligibility:

  • Students with Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply
  • Students, who are in Final year of Bachelor degree and expecting to get their final year results before 31st July, 2010 are also eligible to apply

How to Apply:

  1. Application Forms & prospectus are available at
    • Both campuses of IBA (Bangalore & Greater Noida) on payment of Rs. 1000/-
    • Select branches of Axis Bank on payment of Rs. 1000/-
  2. Application kit can be availed through post by sending Demand Draft in favour of ‘Arihant Education & Research Foundation’, payable at Bangalore to the Admissions Dept., Bangalore Campus.

Admission Procedure

Stage 1 Student must appear for one of the below mentioned ‘All India Aptitude/Entrance Test (as approved and Directed by Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India)’ and submit the photocopy of Score Card along with filled Application Form.

Stage 2 Positive Mental Aptitude Test (PMAT) and Essay writing at GD & PI Centre
Stage 3 Group Discussion & Personal Interview (Verification of all the Original Documents & Experience Certificate {if any} at GD & PI Centre)
Stage 4 Announcement of Results within 7 working days after GD & PI round
Stage 5 Payment of Fee within 10 working days, after the results are announced.

The stages of selection process* and the weightages are:

Aptitude Tests CAT 2009 | ATMA 2010 | XAT 2010 | MAT 2009/2010 80 marks Original Score Card will be verified at GDPI centre
Consideration of Bachelor Degree Marks 20 marks  
Consideration of 12th Marks 20 marks  
Consideration of 10th Marks 20 marks  
Essay Writing 10 marks Assessment will be done at GDPI Centre
Group Discussion 50 marks
Personal Interview (P.I)* 90 marks PMAT will be analysed during the Personal Interview at GDPI Centre
PMAT (Positive Mental Aptitude Test)
Work Experience 10 marks Assessment will be done at GDPI Centre based on Work Experience certificate/s issued by the employer
Total 300 marks  

* It is necessary for a student to clear the P.I round in order to be eligible for Admission at IBA.

The final admission will purely depend on students’ performance as mentioned above and any kind of pressure to influence the admission process will lead to rejection of the Application.

The schedule of GDPI will be displayed on our website on 12th July, 2010.

Results of GDPI

Results will be declared within 7 working days and the selected students will be required to remit the fee within 10 working days from the date results are declared.

  1. Students who get selected will be informed through email (on the email id given in the application form) and the hard copy of the Admission Letter will follow.
  2. Those selected students who wish to take admission will be required to remit the fee within 10 working days, after the results are announced.

PGDM Programme Commencement

The classes will commence from 21st August, 2010.
