DETAILS OF EXPERIENCE BOTH ON THE JOB AND AS MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT:
On the job while in employment of the above mentioned companies and as Management Consultant, I have gained excellent all-round experience in all areas of the profession i.e. Personnel Administration, Recruitment and Placements, Human Resources Development, Industrial Relations and Labor Laws as detailed hereunder:
EXPERIENCE IN HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT:
1. Advised and formulated Personnel policies including policies on recruitment, promotion, transfer, performance appraisal, compensation structure and reward systems.
2. Advised policies on Training and Development and devised external and in-house Training and Development programs for staff, officers and Managers. In Lupin we had engaged top-level Management Consultant from Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad, (the most reputed Staff College in India for Corporate Training, to advise on Organizational Development programs and I worked Jointly with him on devising suitable organizational development programs.
3. Business development and organizational development overview experience. Acted as member of ORGANIZATION COMMITTEE which was headed by Chairman & Managing Director and attended by all functional heads including myself, and gained valuable experience in multi disciplinary corporate exercise on business development, organizational development, setting objectives and charting course of action to be followed.
4. I possess conceptual clarity on Human Resources Management issues, policy framing, recruitment, compensation structure, performance appraisal, determining training needs of employees, organizational development, and management by objectives and harmonious Industrial Relations etc.
5. Drafted Personnel & Administration manuals defining various procedures for personnel and administrative practices to bring about clarity and smooth and efficient administration.
6. Prepared Manpower planning, Personnel Inventory, Job Analyses, Job Specification, Job Description etc.
7. Designed and administered Management by Objective systems including Objective setting, monitoring and evaluation.
8. Designed and administered position specific Performance Appraisal schemes and followed it up by determining training needs of employees.

11. Excellent experience in understanding and identifying problems faced by client companies, analyzing their problems and offering solutions. The methodology I followed was to enable and lead the clients towards problems solving rather than superimposing myself for problem solving.
12. In Indian Rubber Regenerating Company Ltd. and Lupin Laboratories Ltd., when I joined them they were on the threshold of business growth and expansions and I therefore got good experience of coping up with consequent pressures on Human Resources Management functions and catered to the Human Resources Management requirements of these organizations during the take-off and growth stage.
13. In Indian Rubber Regenerating Company Ltd. and Lupin Laboratories Ltd. I was also given additional charge of General Administration functions and I handled General Administration functions such as Security, Company Transport, Establishment Maintenance, Tours and Travels arrangement, House Keeping, Telephones services etc.
14. Given support to line managers to enable them to. Successfully handled union negotiations with militant trade unions. Negotiated and carry out their primary responsibilities for implementing and monitoring HR practices for their respective departments.
EXPERIENCE IN RECRUITMENT AND PLACEMENT:
- Extensively organized and executed recruitment and placements for client companies as well as for my employers.
- Handled databank creation and databank administration.
- Head hunting and sourcing for candidates for pro-active recruitment strategy.
- Drafted effective advertisements based on job descriptions and job specifications.
- New client development strategy, business development and client relations.
EXPERIENCE IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS
- Excellent experience in all aspects of Industrial relations. Signed many settlements on General demands on salary and wage revisions, service conditions, bonus, production incentives etc.
- Successfully handled many strikes, lockouts, Go-slow and coercive tactics by employees. Thorough experience of attending to litigation cases of legality of strikes and lock out, issues pertaining to recognition of trade unions as sole bargaining agent, termination of services of employees, retrenchment of employees, closure of business etc. which were pursued before Labor Courts and High Courts etc.
- Organized pay roll and benefits administration and welfare facilities administration.
- Compliance with all Labor Laws applicable to factory and office establishment.
- Organized effective two-way communication within the organizations by setting up joint committees, which provided forum for communication between workmen and management.
- Conducted Departmental Enquiries in Charge sheet cases in disciplinary actions and also acted as management's representative in the Departmental Enquiries.
