Life at IBA

AdmitionofficeFresh air green surroundings and the still environment make the IBA campus an ideal location for learning. On the one hand student has high pressure, intensive curriculum deadlines and on the other, he has the inviting recreational facility that makes one feel let go. Faculty at IBA demand disciplined, consistent performance from the student. Every one is expected to comply with the disciplined process of learning the IBA training requires. At the same time we at IBA, deeply care about students' holistic development. Tough isn't it?

AdmitionofficeSome of the most important lessons of life are learnt outside the classrooms. Many socio-cultural activities, which form an integral part of IBA culture often, bring students, faculty and practitioners face to face.At IBA this is not left to chance, we believe in the significance and profoundity of such interaction in business education. Hence, we have carefully planned such cultural contexts to facilitate better learning in an entertaining way.

campusRecreation helps one to rejuvenate. Our students are actively encouraged to make use of the recreational facilities IBA provides. IBA is investing significantly in providing state of the art sport facilities both indoor and outside. Play and playfulness are important and we believe deeply that they add to the overall health of our education.

At night, we gathered around the bonfire and threw til, puffed rice & popcorns into the flames of the bonfire. Prayers were offered to the bonfire seeking abundance & prosperity. The best part of this event organized by us or rather we can say that this particular Lohri was made special by the delegates came from France especially Paul and Hardy, who not only enjoyed the event but also participated with great enthusiasm.

The function was full of cultural events like dance, songs and even poetry which really touched everyone's hearts.

Mahashivratri:

On the auspicious day, puja or rituals were performed in the morning by making a shivaling with clean mud and this puja was repeated in the evening also which was followed by a special lunch including all the items which we Indians use to prepare on that day. In IBA there were so many students who did fasting on that day, special food was prepared for them.

Holi:

The colorful festival of Holi has always been celebrated with full enthusiasm all over India and the same in IBA. Dry colours which we call it as 'gulal' was arranged in the campus. All the students really enjoyed and this was followed by a great lunch arranged by the cultural committee with the help of mess committee.

Farewell Party:

The party which all juniors gave to seniors as a final goodbye to them before they step into the world of "corporate life, the life full of stress and challenges. The resort chosen for the occasion was "Guhantra" because of the ambience as all of the 07-09 batch wanted to pick a place that will leave a memory in the seniors mind for the rest of their life. As the seniors enjoyed in the rain dance, but still they were not able to control their tears as the final moment of departing came near. A night that we all wished for our seniors was the night they finally got.
