Research Activities
Through its research activities, IBA aims to be a hub for knowledge creation and dissemination. The faculty is at the forefront of research activities at the academy and provides thought leadership in classroom lectures, research seminars, conferences and journals. The diversity and depth of research and publications activity undertaken at the Institute is evident from the report. During the academic session 2010-11, faculty at IBA, Bangalore published over 25 journal articles, 10 book chapters, and 15 articles in periodicals and dailies. They also wrote & presented 117 papers in various conference proceedings (49- National & 68- International), and gave 60 lectures at various conferences, seminars, and colloquia. The fact that 45 caselets/cases/technical notes were written during the year for use in various courses/subjects taught indicates the level of significance attached to the case method of teaching at the institute.
