Life at IBA

Fresh air green surroundings and the still environment make the IBA campus an ideal location for learning. On the one hand student has high pressure, intensive curriculum deadlines and on the other, he has the inviting recreational facility that makes one feel let go. Faculty at IBA demand disciplined, consistent performance from the student. Every one is expected to comply with the disciplined process of learning the IBA training requires. At the same time we at IBA, deeply care about students' holistic development. Tough isn't it?

Some of the most important lessons of life are learnt outside the classrooms. Many socio-cultural activities, which form an integral part of IBA culture often, bring students, faculty and practitioners face to face.At IBA this is not left to chance, we believe in the significance and profoundity of such interaction in business education. Hence, we have carefully planned such cultural contexts to facilitate better learning in an entertaining way.

Recreation helps one to rejuvenate. Our students are actively encouraged to make use of the recreational facilities IBA provides. IBA is investing significantly in providing state of the art sport facilities both indoor and outside. Play and playfulness are important and we believe deeply that they add to the overall health of our education.

Students Council
One member from each committee is represented at this apex body. This council meets regularly with the President to resolve issues of concern to students and develop strategies for student welfare.

Academic Committee
The academic committee is comprised of 3 student members, elected by the students. The objective of this committee is to represent student concerns and needs with regards to academic activities and facilities. They further assisting in effective coordination and implementation of ideas from faculty to benefit students.

Placement Committee
The placement committee is comprised of 6 members, elected by the students. The objective of this committee is to develop strategies for activities related to Summer and Final placement. They organize the development of the respective prospectus' and information leaflet, coordinate with industry representatives and public relations activities.

Editorial Committee
The editorial committee is comprised of 3 members, elected by the students. The objective of this committee is to deliver a monthly newsletter covering all on-campus & off-campus activities, news & issues of interest and benefit to students.

Cultural Committee
The cultural committee is comprised of 3 members, elected by the students. The objective of this committee is to organize on-campus sports & cultural activities and liaise with other academic institutions to ensure participation. The cultural committee is further involved in identification of students' talents, selection of individuals and groups for participation of IBA students in inter-collegiate cultural activities.

Seminar & Overseas Corporate Tour Committee

The seminar committee is comprised of 6 members, elected by the students. The objective of this committee is organization and participation in seminars and conferences of interest to students. The seminar committee also helps IBA management to organize two National level seminars involving leading management professional from industry.

They also help IBA management in organizing Overseas corporate tour.

Hostel Committee
The hostel committee is comprised of 3 members, elected by the students. The objective of this committee is to represent student concerns and needs with regards to hostel and mess facilities. In addition to managing the mess facilities, this committee is involved in menu planning, quality control etc.,
