IBA Greater Noida Campus is located in the Institutional Area
known as Knowledge Park III. The campus is spread over an area
of 5 acre with built up area of around 1.5 lacs sq. ft., having
Administrative Block, Classrooms, Mess, Cafeteria, Student Activity
Center, Placement Office, Library, Seminar Hall, Hostels, and
Faculty Residences etc.
Work is going on to have Gymnasium, MDP Hostels in near future.
Entire campus is wi-fi enabled, having 2 Mbps Internet connection
for round the clock internet connectivity.
Administrative Block
The
Administrative Block covers an area of around 12000 sq. ft.
and houses the office of the Chairman, Director, CEO, Dean,
Manager Administration, Accounts, Examination Cell etc.
The basement of the Admin block has a provision for 200 capacity
auditorium with latest multimedia facilities. The building is
round in shape and is colored black, which signifies that Admin
block absorbs the problems of the campus by providing solutions.
Boys’ Hostel
Boys’ hostel has a total of 120 double
seater rooms. The structure is ground plus three floors, having
common room with TV. All the students are required to stay on
campus compulsorily. Central Air Coolers have been provided
in all the rooms for pleasant and homely stay.
Girls’ Hostel has total of 90 double
seater rooms. The structure is ground plus three floors, having
common room with TV. All students are required to stay on campus
compulsorily. Central Air Coolers have been provided in all
the rooms for pleasant and homely stay. Plans are also there
for providing rooms with attach toilets.
IBA plans to start a series of MDPs (Corporate
Reach Out Programs for Executive i.e. C-ROPE) with in-house
residential facilities. For the purpose, executive rooms will
be constructed for residential MDPs.
The campus has 100% vegetarian mess serving
breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner, with a capacity
to serve 150 students at a time. Separate dining area is there
for faculty and staff also. Mess is equipped with latest cooking
appliances to serve hygienic, hot and tasty food to all the
residents of IBA. The operations of the Mess are managed by
a dedicated team of professionals, who ensure smooth running
of the mess.
The
library provides resources and services for the information
needs of the faculty, staff and students of IBA Greater Noida.
The library makes available a broad and relevant collection
for information, education and recreation. Nearly 3500 Management
books from popular authors, around 70 Journals from top business
schools, encyclopedias, popular magazines, audiovisuals, best
sellers etc. are there in the library.
A
wide collection of CDs are available. The articles and books
authored by the Dean and faculty of IBA are also available for
reference. The library purchases materials recommended by faculty
and other popular books. Apart from this, library also has online
access to Journals through EBSCO & CMIE database, huge collection
of case studies and reference books.
As IBA is located among a large number of other institutes,
plans are also there to have strategic tie ups with selected
libraries for sharing resources which will help in an exposure
to a more wider world of information.
The
ambience and wooden furnishing of the Library is reflecting
a naturalistic environment which ignites the passion of reading
among the visitors.
The Faculty Block houses the work cabins of
the faculty with a conference room for discussions with students
and faculty meetings. In total there are around 18 faculty cabins
with laptops, phone connections and wi-fi internet connectivity
in each cabin. The cabins have been designed to give maximum
working & storage space to each faculty member.
The campus has in house residential facilities for faculty &
staff. The block comprises four apartments for married faculty,
bachelor’s accommodation for staff and faculty and VIP
AC rooms for guests. The block has been provided with indoor
games and TV facility on each floor.
A healthy mind resides in a Healthy Body! IBA
plans to develop a full fledged Gymnasium for its residents
with modern equipments and a full time trainer.
The
campus also has a Student Activity Center, a three floor building
having the Placement Cell, Multipurpose Shop, student’s
Discussion Centers & Doctor’s Room. A Multipurpose
gymnasium is coming up shortly in the basement with indoor games
like Table Tennis, Pool Table, Carom Board, Chess etc. Plans
are also there to have a meditation room in the center where
the students can practice Yoga and Meditation.
SAC
also houses a full fledged Placement Cell with space for Group
Discussions, Personal Interviews and Presentation Rooms fitted
with latest multimedia enabled gadgets.
IBA Greater Noida is completely connected with
Excellent Wi-Fi network. It has advanced IT facilities with
over 100 systems loaded with Licensed Operating systems and
software packages. As per the IT policy of IBA, Laptop is compulsory
for all students as well as faculty members and it is provided
free of cost. The network infrastructure is being served by
IBM X Series 226 Intel Xeon Servers, Servers including Domain
Controllers, DNS Servers, Mail Server, Proxy Server, Database
Server, and Print Server. The power infrastructure is supported
with heavy duty Uninterruptible Power Supplies for all systems
and servers to avoid data loss.
The Internet Facility at IBA is one of its prominent features.
IBA has 2 Mbps Broadband Internet connection through HCL. Fast
Internet connectivity plays an important role in facilitating
the Faculty and Students for academic as well as Research and
Development activities at the Institute. IBA family members
can avail the facility of Internet access round the clock in
the campus.
IBA is equipped with latest multimedia facilities like electronic
smart boards, location-sensing microphones, and Multimedia LCD
projectors, Overhead Projectors, Scanner, DVD Writers, Laser
Printers, and Digital Cameras etc.
The
fully air conditioned Conference Hall has a capacity of 250.
It was inaugurated by Dr. Bengt Gustavsson, Professor Stockholm
University School of Business Sweden on 16th March, 2007.
The conference Hall is fitted with latest multimedia devices
to cater to the seminars and conferences organized from time
to time by the Institute.
The ICA Block houses multimedia enabled, wi-fi
AC classrooms, lecture theatres and student discussion centers.
Classrooms have been given board room type sitting to facilitate
better discussion and idea exchange among the students &
faculty. In all there are 12 classrooms with seating capacity
varying from 30 to 80 students. Plans are there to add 120 seating
lecture theatres also.
